2023 Newport Beach Art Exhibition

The 2023 Newport Beach Art Exhibition presents an opportunity for artists to show and sell their artwork to the public in a one-day exhibit, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting community art programs throughout the year.

Eligible works include paintings (oil, watercolor, acrylic), drawings (ink, pencil, pastel, charcoal), mixed media, sculpture, and photography. Artists may submit up to two works. Entry fee is $35 for one entry and $50 for two entries. Work samples must include a photo of each artwork submitted. Two-dimensional artwork size limit is 36" wide x 48" high (frame not included). Three-dimensional works must be 150 lbs. or less. Original artwork only; no reproductions or Giclée prints. Photography must be signed and numbered. Artists must be 18 years of age or older and accomplished artists. All artwork must remain at the exhibition until 6:00 p.m. Work must be for sale, with a 20% donation to the Newport Beach Arts Foundation required on all sales.

Artwork delivery is Friday, June 23, 2023 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 8:30-10:00 a.m. The Art Exhibit and Sale takes place Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 1:00-6:00 p.m., with an Awards Reception at 4:30 p.m. Artists must retrieve their artwork at 6:00 p.m. on June 24. Awards are offered in categories: Paintings, Drawings, Photography, and 3D Art (1st $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $100 each), plus Juror's Choice ($200) and People's Choice ($100).
