2023 National Photography Show

The Lincoln Gallery and Thompson Valley Art League invite photographers residing in the United States to enter the 2023 National Photography Show. Work must be entirely created by the entering photographer and not copied from published photos or works by other photographers. All entries must be for sale. No installations or sets of multiple works to make one entry will be accepted. Significantly digitally modified photography is not permitted. Entries must not have been accepted in previous Lincoln Gallery or Thompson Valley Art League juried shows.

Photographers may submit 3-9 images across four categories: Landscapes (natural landscapes), Wildlife (animals/pets, natural or captive), People (portraits, candid people, people as main subject), and Architecture (street scenes, interior/exterior, buildings, constructed scenes like still life). Photographers may enter 1-4 categories but total entries may not exceed 9. The entry fee is $45 for up to 3 entries, with additional entries at $10 each. The juror is landscape, travel, and wildlife photographer Scott Wilson. Accepted entries will be exhibited at Lincoln Gallery, 429 N. Lincoln Ave., Loveland CO 80537, from November 10-30, 2023, and in the virtual gallery from November 10, 2023 through January 1, 2024.

Cash awards will be given for Best of Show, 1st, and 2nd place in each category. The opening reception is November 10, 2023 from 6:00-9:00 pm with awards at 6:30 pm. Shipped work must arrive between October 26-November 2, 2023. Hand-delivered work will be received November 3-4, 2023 from 12:00-5:00 pm. Flat work including frame shall not exceed 75 inches linear measurement and must be wired for hanging. All work must weigh no more than 25 lbs. The Lincoln Gallery will collect a 35% commission on all sales. Payment for sold items will be mailed to artists on the 20th of the month following the close of the show. Photographers will be notified of juror decisions by October 6, 2023.
