2023 Members' Juried Exhibition

The Tubac Center of the Arts invites current members to submit work for the 2023 Members' Juried Exhibition. This juried exhibition is open to all media except video. Work must have been completed within the last 24 months and cannot have been previously displayed at TCA. All work must be the original creation of the artist; giclee reproductions are not permitted. Members may enter up to three 2D or 3D artworks. The entry fee is $30 for the first entry and $3 for each additional entry.

The exhibition runs from November 17 through December 30, 2023, with an opening reception on Friday, November 17, 2023. The juror is Cerese Vaden, Professor of Art and Interim Program Chair at the University of Arizona. Awards will be presented at the opening reception: Best of Show ($300), Award of Excellence ($200), Virginia Hall Contemporary Award ($100), Ursula Suess Abstract Award ($100), Award of Merit ($100), and two Honorable Mention awards ($50 each). The Best of Show winner will also receive a solo exhibit in the Studio Gallery from January 5 – February 25, 2024.

Artwork must arrive ready to professionally display or hang. If framed, work must be suitably matted in white, black, or neutral colors, simply framed, and firmly wired with no sawtooth hangers. All work must be for sale; TCA retains a 40% commission. Artists are responsible for shipping to and from TCA and must provide a prepaid shipping label for return of unsold work. No art may be removed from the exhibit prior to December 31, 2023. Art not picked up after 60 days will become the property of TCA and may be auctioned or sold with proceeds benefiting TCA.
