2023 Members Fall Exhibition

This exhibition is open to all Rochester Art Club members in good standing as of January 1, 2023. Artists may submit up to 4 pieces. All entries must have been created within the last two years and may not have been shown at any previous RAC or other juried show within Monroe County. All aspects of the entry must be the artist's original work including subject, photography, composition, drawing and painting. Entries may not be produced in any instructional class or workshop, or under the paid mentorship of another artist.

Acceptable media includes paintings and 3-D art that can hang on the wall without pedestals. The following are not acceptable: diptych or triptych paintings, mechanical reproductions, photography, crafts, computer-generated art, and nudes. All paintings must be dry, securely framed or gallery wrapped, and supported by picture wire only. Sawtooth hangers are not allowed. The four pieces submitted should have a maximum combined diagonal measurement of 80 inches, including matte and frame.

The entry fee is $30 per artist (non-refundable), which covers 1 to 4 entries. Entries must be submitted by October 9, 2023. Awards include: Best of Show Award ($100 Rochester Art Supply gift card), Rochester Art Supply Award ($50 Rochester Art Supply gift card), 6 Juror Awards ($50 Rochester Art Supply gift cards each), and 6 Merit Awards ($25 Rochester Art Supply gift cards each). Submit high-quality JPEG image files at least 1600 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should be cropped to show only the artwork itself.
