2023 Manhattan Graphics Center National Print Exhibition

Manhattan Graphics Center announces its 2023 National Print Exhibition, a juried competition and exhibition devoted to fine art prints. The exhibition runs October 13–November 18, 2023, with a reception on Friday, October 13, 6–8 PM. The juror is Miguel A. Aragón, an Associate Professor in Printmaking at CUNY College of Staten Island.

Entry fee is $35 ($30 for Manhattan Graphics Center members). Artists may submit a maximum of 3 works. Works must contain some form of printmaking (Intaglio, Silkscreen, Relief, Monotype, Lithography, Collagraph, or Risograph), be 2-dimensional, dated 2020 or later, and have a maximum paper size of 22 x 30". No framed work is permitted. All artwork entered must be for sale. Photographs or reproductions of artwork originally produced in another medium will not be considered. Artists must reside in the United States and be at least 18 years of age.

Prizes: $500 for 1st place, $300 for 2nd place, $200 for 3rd place. Prize winners will have the opportunity to speak about their work at the reception. Artists receive 60% of the sale price with MGC retaining a 40% commission. Accepted work is due October 7, 2023. Work will be returned November 27–December 9, 2023. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and must provide prepaid return shipping labels with insurance. Payments for sales will be made within 30 days from the close of exhibition (by December 19, 2023).
