2023 Holiday Shop

The BBAC Holiday Shop is a juried show that has been an annual tradition for nearly four decades. The event features Shop & Champagne, a preview party with sparkling beverages, gourmet strolling supper, and shopping for over 400 enthusiasts. The Holiday Shop runs November 30 - December 20 with free admission to the public and attracts hundreds of shoppers. Artwork is displayed professionally and restocked daily to maximize sales.

The BBAC seeks fine art and craft in all media suitable for the holiday market, including 2-D media, ceramics, jewelry, glass, fiber, leather, metal, wood, and holiday-themed items such as decorations, ornaments, and greeting cards. All work must be original and handmade by the artist. Commercially manufactured components, commercial patterns, and molds of any type will not be accepted. Historically, items priced between $3.00 and $650.00 sell best, especially items under $100.00. Accepted work must be ready to display, with all wall art requiring proper hanging mechanisms (wire with wrapped ends or D rings; no sawtooth hangers). Artists are juried on their body of work, and artwork is accepted on a consignment basis. The BBAC retains 45% commission on all sales, with proceeds supporting the BBAC's education and ArtAccess programs.

Entry fee is $15.00. Submit 2-4 images of your work. Entry deadline is September 15, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Jury results will be notified on Friday, September 22, 2023. Eligibility is regional, open to Michigan artists.
