About This Call
The City of Irvine is seeking vendors for two holiday events featuring handmade gifts and artisan goods.
The 2023 Holiday Faire takes place on Saturday, November 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Great Park Palm Court and Hangar 244. This juried event will feature 100 talented local artists showcasing unique handmade items including holiday décor, hand-blown glass, ceramics, jewelry, folk crafts, and clothing. Booth spaces are 10 x 10 feet. Vendors can request indoor or outdoor booth placement; a maximum of two pre-approved exhibitors per space is allowed for outdoor vendors. Exhibitors must bring their own canopies, tables, chairs, table covers, light fixtures, display items, and 75 lb. safety weights per canopy leg.
The new Holiday Market takes place December 2 from 3 to 7 p.m. and December 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., entirely indoors in Hangar 244. It will feature 28 curated vendors offering jewelry, ceramics, folk crafts, clothing, and more. Booth spaces are 10 x 10 feet indoors only. Vendors must commit to both days and bring their own tables, chairs, table covers, light fixtures, and display items.
Exhibitor space fee is $135 per event; all sales go to the exhibitor. Applicants must submit 8-12 images of handmade products plus one booth setup image. All items must be original artwork produced by the exhibitor; no imports, manufactured goods, or items with copyrighted imagery are allowed. Jury notifications will be sent by September 15. Invited vendors must confirm participation by September 29. A City of Irvine Business License is required; non-residents can purchase a One-Day Special Event Business License for $15 per event.
