H Gallery + Studios, located in Ventura, California, is a 10,000 square foot contemporary art space opened in 2011. The gallery includes a 3,000 square foot gallery, a 2,700 cubic foot suspended installation area, and 20 work studios. Nestled between Malibu and Ojai, it is one of the most established contemporary spaces in the greater Los Angeles area.

This call invites submissions for group and solo exhibitions. Accepted artwork includes painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. Submissions must include at least 3 images (up to 20), a biography and/or artist statement, artist website link, and links to at least one social media platform. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own the sole copyright. 2D artwork must be ready to hang with professional quality frames, mats, and wiring. Exhibition lengths vary from 6 to 12 weeks for in-gallery shows and 3 to 6 months for online exclusives. Selected artists are invited to attend receptions, and a select few may be invited for recorded artist interviews or panel discussions.

Entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with additional images at $5 each (maximum 20 images). An optional video consultation with the gallery director is available for $100. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. Shipments must include prepaid UPS or FedEx return labels and be in reusable containers. No packing peanuts are permitted. The gallery retains a 50% commission on all sales. Sales remittance to artists is provided within 5-7 business days after exhibition close and payment receipt. Notifications are sent via email generally within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. Selected artists receive an "Invited" status for upcoming exhibitions, while "Wait List" artists will be featured in at least one online exhibition within the calendar year.
