2023 Evendale Juried Photography Exhibit

Evendale Cultural Arts announces the 2023 Evendale Juried Photography Exhibition. Up to eighty juror-selected photographs will be featured, with cash awards given for Best in Show, second place, third place, and honorable mentions. All subject matter and photographic processes are welcome. Artwork will be evaluated for appropriateness as this is held by a family-friendly cultural arts center. A student category is available for any student under the age of 18 currently enrolled in school.

Photographers (professional and amateur 18 years or older living within a 50-mile radius of Evendale) are eligible to submit digital or film photographs. A maximum of five photographs can be submitted. All entries must be original photographs in black and white, color, or experimental photographic medium. The entry fee is $10 per entry (non-refundable). Students 18 and under are free with coupon code STUDENT. Evendale residents who complete submission by the deadline are free of charge and must email [email protected] for their coupon code. The application deadline is September 8, 2023. Accepted photographers will be notified on September 13, 2023.

The exhibition will be held October 1–November 30, 2023 on the grounds of the Evendale Cultural Arts Center, 10428 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45241. Accepted photographs will be reproduced on weather-resistant substrates and installed throughout the Village of Evendale municipal complex. The opening day reception is October 1, 1–4 pm, with an awards ceremony at 2 pm. Over $1,000 in cash prizes will be awarded: Best in Show $350 (with solo exhibition), 2nd Place $175, 3rd Place $100, and Honorable Mentions $50. Student Division awards: 1st $150, 2nd $100, 3rd $50, and Honorable Mentions $25.
