2023 CVG Juried Show

Collective Visions Gallery announces the Sixteenth Annual CVG Show, a juried art competition for Photo/Digital, Two-Dimensional and Three-Dimensional art. All Washington State artists over the age of 18 are invited to submit work. There is no particular theme for this show; artists are encouraged to submit their best pieces in any category, medium, or genre.

Over $10,000 in prizes and awards will be awarded to winners in several categories, including Best of Show/Mayor's Award ($1,500), Best of Kitsap Award ($1,000), First Prize awards ($1,000 each in Photo/Digital, 2D, and 3D), Second Prize awards ($500 each), Third Prize awards ($250 each), People's Choice Award ($300), and up to 10 Honorable Mentions Awards ($25 gift card to Artist's Edge each). A Purchase Prize Fund is also available (TBD). The juror is Carla O'Connor, a signature member of the American Watercolor Society and National Watercolor Society with extensive exhibition and teaching experience.

Entry fee is $45.00 for one to two artworks. Submissions must be original work completed after January 1, 2020, and submitted online through CaFE. All work must have been done without instructor supervision, and copies or works based on copyrighted material are not eligible. Jurying is a blind process based solely on the merits of each work. Notifications to artists will be sent on or before December 20, 2022. Hand deliveries are January 7-8, 2023 (1-5 pm); shipped work is accepted December 27, 2022 – January 7, 2023. The exhibition opens January 14, 2023, with an awards ceremony and juror's talk at 3 pm and reception from 4-7 pm. The show runs through February 24, 2023, with pick-up available February 25-26 and March 1-2 for shipped work.
