2023 CPA Members Juried Exhibition

The Center for Photographic Art (CPA) announces the 2023 Members' Juried Exhibition, offering $2,400 in awards and prizes. The exhibition is open to all living photographers worldwide, over the age of 18, working in all still photographic media, provided they are a CPA member. There is no theme; any subject matter is eligible. Non-members may join CPA at https://photography.org/shop/joincpa/.

Fortyfive images selected by juror Hamidah Glasgow will be exhibited in the historic CPA gallery in Carmel, CA, and featured in an online gallery on the CPA website. Up to an additional forty-five images will be selected for the online gallery. All selected images will be published in the 2023 Members' Juried Exhibition catalog. Awards include: Best of Show ($1,000), 2nd place ($500), 3rd place ($250), five merit awards ($50 each), Jack Wasserbach Award for B&W Photography ($250), and People's Choice Award ($150).

Entry fee is $35 for 3 images; additional images are $5 each (up to 20 total). Submissions open January 2 and close February 17, 2023 at 11:59pm MST. All entrants will be notified via email after February 27, 2023. For invited gallery artists, artwork must arrive at CPA no later than Friday, March 24, 2023. The exhibition runs April 1-May 7, 2023, with a reception and awards presentation on April 1 at 4:00-6:00pm. Gallery artwork must be ready-to-hang, not exceed 30 inches on the long side, weigh less than 10 pounds, and be glazed with acrylic Plexiglas only (no glass).
