2023 Contemporary Art Survey

The Fort Collins Lincoln Center invites visual artists residing in the US to enter the 2023 Contemporary Art Survey, a national juried exhibition with Guest Juror Haley Hasler. The exhibition is an open call to artists working in all media. We are seeking works in all media and genres that together will present a survey of contemporary art in America. Representational, abstract and conceptual work will be considered. Artists 18 years and older whose primary residence is in the United States may apply. Entries must be of the artist's original design and completed in the past two years, since November 2019.

The entry fee is $35.00 for up to three different artworks per artist in any combination of media, including small installations (up to 12'h x 6'w x 6'd) and video. Work sample requirements: 1-3 images and 0-3 videos (total of 1-3 samples). Notification to artists will be the week of July 10, 2023. The reception and awards presentation is Saturday, August 19, 5-7pm, with exhibition dates August 19-October 7, 2023.

$1,750 in cash prizes will be awarded: Grand Prize $1,000, Second Place $500, Third Place $250. The Fort Collins Lincoln Center will retain a 30% commission on all sales made as a result of the exhibition. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping of artworks. Lincoln Center will insure artworks for their insurance value or retail value while on the premises.
