2023 Colorado Photographic Arts Center Annual Members Show

The Colorado Photographic Arts Center announces its annual juried members' photography exhibition. This year's jurors are Mia Dalglish and Lisa Woodward, Co-Curators at Pictura Gallery in Bloomington, Indiana. The exhibition will be a survey of new work made by CPAC members and is intended to highlight the creative talents of CPAC's constituency. There is no theme. The show is open to current, registered members of the organization only. If you are not a member of CPAC, you can become one online or pay the $50 entry fee and receive a free CPAC membership at the Individual level (1-year).

All lens-based media are eligible, including images made by film, scanner, screen-capture, digital camera, and any means of mobile photography. Submissions must include a minimum of 3 images and a maximum of 10 images. For current members, the first three images are free (a code has been emailed out); $5 for each additional image. Applicant submission deadline is Friday, April 7, 2023 (midnight MDT). Application notifications will be sent Friday, April 28, 2023. Accepted work must be delivered to the gallery by Friday, June 23, 2023. Exhibition dates are June 30 – August 5, 2023. Opening Reception and Award ceremony are scheduled for Saturday, July 15, 2023, 5-8pm.

Awards include Best in Show Purchase Award ($300 and the selected image becomes part of CPAC's permanent photography collection), Director's Choice ($100 award), and Honorable Mention Award(s). All awardees will receive a printed copy of the exhibition catalog. Final exhibition sizes must be specified, including framing if applicable. CPAC will charge a 30% sales commission.
