About This Call
The Town of Monument is relaunching its annual ArtSites call to artists for approximately 11 outdoor sculptures to be located on pedestals throughout the Monument area. The pieces will be displayed for one year. Selected artists will be awarded a $500 stipend for each selected piece.
Applicants should submit 1-3 digital photographs per sculpture along with a short description of the dimensions and installation requirements. Base dimensions should not exceed 18". Multiple entries per artist are welcome. There are no eligibility requirements.
Selected art will be insured by the Town of Monument. As of 2022, the program includes a partnership with Otocast, a phone app that provides an audio driving and walking tour of outdoor public art in the TriLakes area. QR codes will bring up individual pieces with audio descriptions recorded by the artists.
