2023 Art of Possibilities Art Show & Sale

Art of Possibilities Art Show & Sale is a project of the Allina Health Foundation and Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute. It is one of only a handful of juried art shows in the world exclusively featuring artists with disabilities. Held annually since 1963, the Art Show & Sale attracts hundreds of artists and thousands of visitors from Minnesota and around the world. The show provides a forum for artists with disabilities to sell their work, promotes their talents, and creates an inclusive community event for people of all abilities.

Nearly 200 artists with disabilities showcase their art each year. Artwork is reviewed on-site by a jury of professional artists, collectors, influencers, and educators in the local arts community. All art must be original, completed in the last three years, and available for sale. There is no entry fee for submission. Artists may submit up to four art entries in any category and must submit a biography. Artists with a disability causing physical or mental impairment of one or more major life activities are eligible. Examples of major life activities include walking, seeing, hearing, breathing, personal care, learning, or working.

The 2023 show runs April 28 – May 31, 2023, at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, 3915 Golden Valley Road, Minneapolis, MN 55422. The opening reception is April 27, 2023. Online art sales open April 28, 2023. Local art drop-off is April 5-7, 2023, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Local art pick-up is June 7-9, 2023, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Artist payment checks are mailed June 30, 2023.
