2022 West Texas Watercolor Society Fall Show

West Texas Watercolor Society 60th Annual Fall Show, September 2 – October 29, 2022, hosted by the Broadway Contemporary Fine Art Gallery, 1919 Broadway, Lubbock, Texas 79401.

The exhibition is open to all members. Membership dues of $40 for 2022-2023 must be paid for eligibility and received before 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time on July 15, 2022. Entry fees are $15 per entry for a maximum of three entries. Only one entry per artist will be accepted into the show. All paintings must be done using 90% water media (watercolor, gouache, acrylics, watercolor inks, acrylic inks, egg tempera, watercolor pencils, and watercolor crayons) on paper, yupo, Tyvek, water media board or canvas. All work must be original, completed within the last two years, without instructor supervision. Class or workshop art and artwork entered in a previous WTWS judged show are not eligible. The minimum accepted painted image size without mat or frame is 100 square inches (10" x 10"). Maximum outside framed size is 36" in either direction. No oils, water-soluble oils, alcohol inks, computer-generated art, digital media, photography, diptychs, triptychs, or paintings of nudes are accepted.

Juror of Selection: Karen Knutson, TWSA, SDWS, RRWS, MTWS, NPWS, MNWS, and MOWS. Notification of acceptance sent July 29. Accepted work due August 18. Awards Reception on September 18 at Legacy Event Center, 2:30 pm. The Broadway Contemporary Fine Art Gallery will receive 30% commission on all paintings sold. WTWS and Broadway Contemporary Fine Art Gallery will not be responsible for loss or damage to artwork. Artists are responsible for all shipping costs and return shipping.
