About This Call
The Women's Jewelry Association Foundation (WJAF), in partnership with Jewelers Mutual Group and Black in Jewelry Coalition, is offering The Radiant Minds Technology Scholarship to support women of color pursuing careers in technology and business operations roles within the jewelry and watch industry.
The selected scholarship recipient will be awarded funding up to $17,500 to pay for a training and certification program at an agreed upon institute or school. The program may be online or in-person and must be completed within one year. Examples of eligible programs include Flatiron School (software engineering, data science, or product design) or General Assembly (software engineering or UX design). During the program, the recipient will have exposure to various leaders within the Jewelers Mutual Group organization for guidance and advice.
Eligibility requirements: Applicants must be age 18 or older, identify as a woman of color, be based in the United States, and be currently enrolled at or show proof of acceptance to a training and certification program starting by fall 2022. The application deadline is July 15, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT.
