2022 Solo & Group Exhibition Consideration | Downtown Austin

Sí Gallery, located in the East Sixth neighborhood of Downtown Austin, is accepting submissions for solo and group exhibitions both online and in gallery. Online exhibitions vary from 3 to 6 months, with a minimum of one solo exhibition selected per month. Gallery exhibition lengths may vary from 4 to 12 weeks. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to attend receptions, and a selected few may be invited for recorded artist interviews and/or panel discussions.

Submissions must include a minimum of 3 images and a maximum of 20 images. The entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with an additional $5 per image up to 20 total. An optional video consultation with the gallery director is available for $100. The consultation includes discussion of your submission, website, social media accounts, biography, and artist statement, with feedback designed to improve your online presence. Consultations are limited to 1 hour maximum, conducted via Zoom, and artists receive a recorded copy. You have 90 days to schedule your consultation.

All mediums and genres are considered, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own the sole copyright. Artists selected for exhibition will be considered for Dab Art Co. gallery representation, which includes priority consideration for future exhibitions, professional consultation, portfolio assistance, and marketing support. The gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales. Notifications are generally sent via email within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. Selected artists receive either an "Invited" status for immediate exhibition placement or "Wait List" status, with waitlisted artists featured in at least one exhibition within the calendar year.
