2022 Quilts Unlimited

View, a Center for Arts and Culture based in the Adirondack Region of New York State, holds the annual "Quilts Unlimited" exhibition open to all artists working in the fiber-based quilting medium.

The exhibition is open to quilters working in Art, Bed, or Wall quilts. Bed and Wall Quilts require stitching through all three layers; Art Quilts require stitching through two or three layers. Kit quilts and hand-tied quilts are not eligible. All entries must include attribution to the pattern designer if applicable, with personal execution created within the past four years. Artwork previously shown at View is not eligible. Entry fees are $25 for non-members and $15 for View members, with an additional $10 per image for up to five total submissions. Artists may submit up to five works for judging, but the selection process allows up to two entries per quilter in the exhibition. Selected work must be received by September 23, 2022. View retains a 35% commission on all works sold and will insure works for the duration of the exhibition. Selected artwork must include a 4" sleeve sewn on the upper back and a cloth label with the quilter's name and quilt title on the back lower left corner. All shipping is at the artist's expense with a $10 handling fee per package.

The exhibition runs October 1 - December 3, 2022. Selection notification will be sent by August 29, 2022. View offers over $2,500 in cash prizes. The juror of selection is Mary Walter, a certified quilt judge and freelance curator. The juror of awards is Pat Harrison, a certified judge and award-winning quilter.
