2022 PAPNM 14th National Juried Members Exhibition

The PAPNM 14th National Juried Members Exhibition is a juried exhibition and sale of original two-dimensional 'en plein air' artworks presented by the Plein Air Painters of New Mexico (PAPNM) and hosted by Wild Sage Gallery from October 28 through November 10, 2022. The opening reception and awards presentation is October 28, 4-6:00 PM at Wild Sage Gallery, Taos. PAPNM is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization of artists dedicated to preserving and promoting painting 'en plein air' - in the open air or outdoors.

Eligibility is limited to current PAPNM members (artist members, signature members, and master signature members) working in two-dimensional mediums: oil media (traditional and water-mixable), wet media (acrylic, watercolor, and gouache), dry media (pastel), and encaustics completed outdoors. Digital work will not be considered. All work must be at least 80% completed en plein air during the last two years. Works painted prior to September 1, 2020 will be withdrawn from jury consideration. Works must not violate copyright laws and must be original concept painted solely by the entering artist. Works shown in any previous PAPNM juried member exhibition are not eligible. Works done under the guidance of an instructor are not eligible.

Each artist may submit up to 4 images. The first image costs $46, each additional image costs $10 (non-refundable). One artwork may be selected for exhibition from each artist. Signatures must not be visible on entry. All accepted works must be framed with hanging wire attached; no zigzag hangers allowed. Maximum framed size is 320 square inches (16"x20"), with maximum framed width of 20". Minimum price for artworks is $400. Jury result notification will be emailed on August 24, 2022. PAPNM membership for 2022 must be current with dues paid in full before submitting. Master Signature Members will receive a separate email invitation and need not apply through Call For Entry nor pay entry fees.
