2022 Newport Beach Art Exhibition

The 56th Annual Newport Beach Art Exhibition presents an opportunity for artists to show and sell their artwork to the public in a one-day exhibit, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting community art programs throughout the year.

The exhibition is open to accomplished artists 18 years of age and older. Artists may submit up to two works of art. Entry fees are $35 for one entry or $50 for two entries. Works must have been created within the last two years and must be original artwork only. All two-dimensional artwork must be framed, with a size limit of 36" x 48" (dimensions do not include frame). Three-dimensional artwork is limited to works 150 lbs. or less. Photography must be signed and numbered. Diptych or triptych artwork is eligible as a singular piece, with overall combined dimensions not exceeding 36" x 48".

Awards are offered in the following categories: Paintings (Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor), Drawings (Ink, Pencil, Charcoal), Photography, and 3D Art (Sculpture and 3D Mixed Media). Each category offers 1st place $300, 2nd place $200, and 3rd place $100. Additional awards include Juror's Choice ($200) and People's Choice ($100). Artist's delivery of artwork is scheduled for Friday, May 13 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30-10:00 a.m. The art exhibit and sale runs Saturday from 1:00-6:00 p.m., with an awards reception at 4:30 p.m. Artists are responsible for retrieving their artwork by 6:00 p.m. on the day of the event. Delivery and retrieval must be done in person or by a designated representative. No refunds once artwork has been accepted. W-9 required for awarding of cash prizes.
