2022 Mexico City Exhibitions

Proyectos Galería (PRPG.mx) is a Dab Art Co. satellite gallery located in Colonia Juárez, Mexico City. Housed in a 2-story former residence with 4,000 square feet of combined exhibition space, the gallery features both original colonial architecture and contemporary display walls. The gallery is curated exclusively by Dab Art Co. curator Michael Swank.

This call accepts painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. Proposals may include multiple disciplines. Entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with additional images at $5 each (maximum 20 images). An optional Zoom consultation with the curator is available for $75, limited to 1 hour, covering your submission, website, social media, biography, and artist statement, with recorded feedback provided. Entries submitted by January 31, 2022 are reviewed weekly for upcoming exhibition consideration. Notifications are sent via email within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. Selected artists receive either an "Invited" status for immediate group or solo exhibition placement, or "Wait List" status, which includes guaranteed online exhibition within the calendar year.

All work must be original, unsold, and owned solely by the artist. 2D artwork must be ready to hang with professional-quality frames, mats, and wiring. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. Shipments must include prepaid UPS or FedEx return labels and be in reusable containers. No packing peanuts are permitted. The gallery retains a 50% commission on all sales. Payment to artists is provided within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer.
