2022 Left Coast Annual Juried Exhibition

The 2022 Left Coast Annual Juried Exhibition is open to all California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii artists age 18 and older. All fine arts visual media will be considered. The exhibition runs April 9 - May 15, 2022, with an opening reception on April 8 (details TBD based on health and safety considerations).

Artists may submit up to 20 entries, including up to 18 images and up to 6 videos. The non-refundable entry fee is $15 per image or video submitted. Work must be able to fit through a standard-sized door (80" x 35") and weigh less than 50 lbs. Framed 2D work must be wired (no sawtooth hangers). Artwork shown in prior juried exhibitions at Sanchez Art Center is not eligible. The entry deadline is February 1, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PST. Accepted artists will be notified by February 21.

The juror is Jeff Nathanson, Executive Director and Art Curator for the Museum of Sonoma County. Awards include 2 Exhibition Awards ($250 plus an exhibition in 2022) and 2 Merit Awards ($250). The exhibition will be presented both in-person at the gallery (Friday-Sunday, 1-5 p.m., by appointment) and online at SanchezArtCenterVirtualGalleries.org. Sales are encouraged with Sanchez Art Center retaining a 30% commission. Shipped work must arrive by March 28 at 5 p.m.; artists are responsible for all shipping costs and must include a prepaid return shipping label. Hand-delivery is available March 27-28. Work pickup is May 15 (5-6:30 p.m.) or May 16 (10 a.m.-12 p.m.). Sanchez Art Center carries $150,000 art insurance with a $500 deductible.
