2022 Keller Art Walk Call for Plein Air Artists

The Keller Public Arts Board will host the fifth annual Keller Art Walk on November 12, 2022 in the city's Old Town area. The Board is seeking six artists to paint, sculpt, or work in other art mediums during the event. Selected artists will receive a $150 honorarium, free booth space for displaying and selling additional work, and promotion on the event website, Facebook page, and on-site signage.

Artists must create their work away from the booth and be visible to the public for viewing while a person of their choice operates the booth for the duration of the event (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.), excluding reasonable breaks for lunch. Artwork created during the event must be appropriate for public viewing and support the family-friendly atmosphere of the City of Keller. Booth space includes optional set up and tear down of a 10x10 canopy. The Keller Art Walk is an arts and music festival held in the Old Town Keller West area on the west side of U.S. Highway 377. The event will also feature a kid zone, live music, and vendors.

Eligibility: Artists must reside in Texas and submit original work only. Application requirements include a résumé, artist statement (maximum 1000 words describing media and work to be created during the event), and three to five JPEG images of work examples. Applications are accepted only through www.callforentry.org. Artists not selected as plein air artists may participate with a regular paid vendor spot.
