About This Call
The Center for Photographic Art (CPA) announces the 2022 International Juried Exhibition with $5,000 in awards. Forty-five juror-selected photographs will be exhibited from November 19 through December 30 in the historic gallery in Carmel, California. These photographs will also be featured in an online gallery on the CPA website along with an additional forty-five juror-selected images. An exhibition catalog of the entire gallery and online exhibition will be available for purchase.
The juror is Paul Kopeikin, founder and owner of Kopeikin Gallery. Awards include: First Place $2,500, Second Place $1,000, Third Place $500, four awards of merit at $250 each, and a People's Choice Award of $150 plus CPA gear voted by the public.
The exhibition is open to all living photographers worldwide over the age of 18 working in all still photographic media. There is no theme; any subject matter is eligible. Photographs accepted for previous CPA IJE gallery exhibitions are not eligible. Entry fees are $65 for non-members (3 images) during the regular entry period (August 9 - September 15, 2022), or $45 for members. Additional images may be submitted at $10 each for up to 20 total images. Submission is through the CallForEntry (CaFE) online entry system. Image specifications: 1920 pixels (long dimension) at 72 ppi, AdobeRGB(1998) profile, 8-bit JPEG, maximum 5MB. Selected artists will be notified by October 3, 2022. For gallery exhibition, framed photographs must be delivered by November 9, 2022. Framed artwork must have the long dimension no larger than 30 inches, be glazed with acrylic only (no glass), weigh less than 10 pounds, and have a wire hanging system. Shipping must use FedEx or UPS with prepaid return labels. CPA retains a 40% commission on all work sold.
