2022 Gallery Exhibitions | Downtown Austin

Sí Gallery, located in the East Sixth neighborhood of Downtown Austin, is accepting submissions for solo and group exhibitions in both online and gallery settings. The gallery selects a minimum of one solo exhibition per month, with online exhibitions varying from 3 to 6 months and gallery exhibition lengths ranging from 4 to 12 weeks. Featured artists are invited to personally attend receptions, and a selected few may be invited for recorded artist interviews and panel discussions.

Artists selected for exhibition will be considered for Dab Art Co. gallery representation, which includes priority consideration for future exhibitions, professional consultation, portfolio assistance, marketing and promotional support, online market inventory, and website profile. The gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales in gallery and online. Artists selected for exhibition will be listed on Dab Art Co.'s sales platform, Artsy. Payment to artists is provided within 60 days after the exhibit concludes and receipt of full payment from the buyer.

Submissions should include at least 3 images (maximum 20), a biography and/or artist statement, artist website link, and links to at least one social media platform. All mediums and genres are considered, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional, digital, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own the sole copyright. Frames, mats, and wiring must be professional quality and in good condition. 2D artwork selected for exhibition must be ready to hang. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping with prepaid return labels.

Entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with additional images at $5 each (maximum 20 images). An optional video consultation with the gallery director is available for $100, limited to 1 hour maximum and conducted via Zoom. Notifications are generally sent via email within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. Selected artists receive either an "Invited" status for immediate exhibition consideration or "Wait List" status, with wait-listed artists featured in at least one exhibition within the calendar year.
