2022 Firehouse Art Center Call For Artists

The Firehouse Art Center is accepting applications for its 2023 exhibition calendar. The Firehouse Art Center is Longmont's leading contemporary art center featuring national, regional, and local artists. The National Historic Landmark building features two exhibition spaces and over 1,000 square feet of space, with free admission and over 10,000 visitors annually. The center has been voted Best Art Gallery in East Boulder County for 7 consecutive years and Times Call Readers Choice for Best Art Gallery for 6 consecutive years.

The exhibitions committee consists of artists, art administrators, business professionals, curators, and art collectors. Preference is given to submissions that are culturally relevant with a unique perspective and the ability to provide a diverse art experience. Cutting edge contemporary work and multi-disciplinary artists are strongly encouraged. Group exhibitions and curatorial proposals are welcomed, as well as solo exhibition proposals from established and emerging artists in all mediums, including installation, film, and performance art.

Applications are open to all artists in the continental US. Entry fee is $35.00. Applicants may submit up to 3 applications. Work samples must include a minimum of 5 and maximum of 10 total images, with the option to submit up to 2 audio files and up to 2 video files. All materials must be submitted online via the CaFÉ system. Digital images should be labeled as Lastname_Firstname_Title.jpg.
