About This Call
Far Away Places is an online and in-gallery group exhibition open to all local, national, and international artists. Works should depict unique and exotic places that you consider "far away." Locations can be real or imagined.
Acceptable mediums include: Acrylic, Airbrush, Alcohol Ink, Bronze, Charcoal, Collage, Color Pencil, Computer Art, Digital Art, Digital Photography, Drawings, Encaustic, Fiber Arts, Glass Art, Graphite, Gouache, Illustration, Mixed Media, New Media, Oil, Pastel, Pen and Ink, Photo Assemblage, Printmaking, Sculpture, Traditional Photography, Video, and Watercolor. Submissions must include 1-20 images. Entry fee is $31.00 with an additional $2.00 per image fee.
Deadline: October 1, 2022. Notification: October 8, 2022. Exhibition dates: November 3-26, 2022. All submitted artists will have at least one work posted and promoted on the gallery's website and client list. A select number of artists will be chosen to send their work to the brick-and-mortar gallery for the in-person exhibition. Artist commission: 65%.
