2022 Evendale Juried Photography Exhibit "The World Around Them"

The Evendale Cultural Arts Center invites photographers to submit work for "The World Around Them," a 2022 juried photography exhibition. Up to eighty juror-selected photographs will be featured, with cash awards for professional and amateur fine art photographers. All subject matter and photographic processes are welcome, though artwork will be evaluated for appropriateness in this family-friendly venue. This exhibition is part of the 2022 FotoFocus Biennial, which activates over 100 museums, galleries, universities, and public spaces throughout Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Dayton, and Columbus, Ohio in October 2022.

Photographers (professional and amateur, 18 years or older, living within a 50-mile radius of Evendale) are eligible to submit digital or film photographs. A maximum of five photographs can be submitted. The entry fee is $10 per entry; students 18 and under are free with code STUDENT2022, and Evendale residents are free with a coupon code. All entries must be original photographs in black and white, color, or experimental photographic medium. The exhibition runs October 2 - November 1, 2022, on the grounds of the Evendale Cultural Arts Center, 10428 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45241. Each accepted photograph will be reproduced on weather-resistant substrates and displayed outdoors throughout the Village of Evendale municipal complex.

Judging will be conducted by 2022 Juror Eric Hatch. Winners will be announced on the opening day, October 2. Awards include Best in Show ($350), second place ($175), third place ($100), and honorable mentions ($50). A student division offers separate awards: 1st place ($150), 2nd place ($100), 3rd place ($50), and honorable mentions ($25). The Best in Show winner will also receive a solo exhibition.
