2022 Emerging Vision, CPAC Biennial Student Show

The Colorado Photographic Arts Center invites submissions for the 2022 Emerging Vision, CPAC Biennial Student Show. This exhibition is open to regional, national, and international artists who are current undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at a post-secondary institution and not graduating before the end of the academic year 2022-2023. A copy of your current student schedule or student ID must be submitted with your entry.

All lens-based media are eligible, including images made by film or video camera, scanner, screen-capture, digital camera, and any means of mobile photography. Applicants must submit 3-10 images and may include 0-3 videos. Entry fee is $12 for 3 images, with an early bird discount of $6 for 3 images available until September 2nd (code: EARLYBIRD). Additional images cost $3 each. Exhibition print sizes must be specified with height or width no larger than 65". Work will be hung with magnets; artists may choose to frame or send prints only. Exhibition sizes cannot be changed after acceptance. The gallery must receive artwork no later than Friday, November 18th. CPAC will charge a 30% sales commission.

The exhibition runs November 25, 2022 - January 7, 2023, with an opening reception on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 6-9pm. Jurors are Yoav Friedlander and Dana Stirling. Awards include Best in Show (Feature on Float) and Two Honorable Mentions ($150 in Custom Printing from Digital Silver Imaging each). For questions, contact [email protected] or call 303-837-1341.
