2022 Downtown Austin Gallery Exhibitions

Sí Gallery, located in the East Sixth neighborhood of Downtown Austin, is accepting submissions for solo and group exhibitions in both online and gallery settings. The gallery selects a minimum of one solo exhibition per month, with online exhibitions running 3 to 6 months and gallery exhibitions lasting 4 to 12 weeks. Featured artists are invited to attend receptions, and a selected few may be invited for recorded artist interviews or panel discussions.

Submissions must include a minimum of 3 images and a maximum of 20 images, along with a biography and/or artist statement, artist website link, and links to at least one social media platform. All mediums and genres are considered, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional work, digital art, photography, installation, mixed media, and new genres. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own the sole copyright. For 2D artwork selected for exhibition, pieces must be ready to hang with professional-quality frames, mats, and wiring in good condition.

Entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with additional images at $5 each (maximum 20 images total). An optional video consultation with the gallery director is available for $100, limited to 1 hour via Zoom, with a 90-day scheduling window. Artists selected for exhibition will be considered for Dab Art Co. gallery representation, which includes priority consideration for future exhibitions, professional consultation, portfolio assistance, and marketing support. The gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales. Notifications are sent via email within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. Selected artists receive either an "Invited" status for immediate exhibition placement or "Wait List" status, with waitlisted artists guaranteed at least one exhibition within the calendar year.
