2022 CVG Under 30 Juried Show

This is an online-only juried exhibition running from July 1 through July 31, 2022, hosted at www.collectivevisionsgallery.com. Artists aged 18 as of January 1, 2022 and up to age 29 as of December 31, 2022, with residences in Washington State, Oregon, Idaho, and California are eligible to enter. There is no theme; artists are encouraged to submit their best work in any accepted medium.

Each artist may submit up to 2 pieces of art in any category, with both pieces potentially in different categories. All submitted artwork must have been created since January 1, 2020. Any medium, style, or genre of 2-D, Photo/Digital, and 3-D artwork is eligible, including painting, drawing, encaustic, collage, mixed-media, photography, digital images, and sculpture. Giclee prints, art reproduced and painted over prints, works copied from existing works of art, unfinished work, video entries, and artwork not meeting family-friendly standards are not eligible. All artwork must be the sole work and exclusive property of the submitting artist. Works created under the direction of a school, class, or instructor are eligible as long as they are original and fit all other requirements.

The entry fee is $30.00 (non-refundable) and must be paid online through CaFE. Artists may submit up to 2 images (1-2 total samples required). One entry per artist will be accepted into the online show, though the entry fee does not guarantee acceptance. All artwork must be available for purchase at submitted prices. The Collective Visions Gallery receives a 40% commission for all sales. 2D pieces must be framed or gallery wrapped and wired for hanging; Photo/Digital pieces on paper or canvas must be framed and wired for hanging. Artists are responsible for shipping sold pieces themselves. Notifications of results will be sent by email on or before June 30, 2022. An Awards Ceremony will be scheduled via Zoom webinar (date/time TBA). Awards include Best in Show ($350), 1st Prize ($300), 2nd Prize ($200), 3rd Prize ($100), 1 Honorable Mention Award ($25 gift certificate to Michael's Art Stores), and Best of Kitsap ($250 plus a one-month Underground Featured Show at CVG during 2023).
