2022 CVG Show

Collective Visions Gallery announces the Fifteenth Annual CVG Show, a juried art competition for Photo/Digital, Two-Dimensional and Three-Dimensional art. All Washington State artists over the age of 18 are invited to submit work. Over $10,000 in cash and awards will be awarded to winners in several categories.

Eligibility: Artists must be 18 years or older and residents of Washington State. Entries must be original, entirely the work of the entrant, and executed within the past three years (since 1/1/2019). Work must have been done without the supervision of an instructor. Copies of existing artworks or works solely based on copyrighted artworks are not eligible. A maximum of two entries per artist is permitted; artists may enter more than one category.

Entry Fee: $45.00 for one to two artworks. Submit online through CaFE at www.callforentry.org. Work Sample Requirements: 1-2 images and/or up to 2 videos (minimum 1 total sample, maximum 2 total samples). All entries will be juried from digital images; awards will be judged from original works of art.

Work Specifications: Two-dimensional work may not exceed 8 feet in longest dimension or weigh more than 75 lbs. All 2D works on paper must be under glass or Plexiglas (shipped work must use Plexiglas). Three-dimensional work must fit within a 4 x 4 x 9 foot space and weigh less than 400 lbs. All work must be gallery-ready for display with appropriate framing, hanging wires, and supports. Sawtooth hangers or ring hangers are not permitted. All work must be for sale; Collective Visions Gallery retains a 33% commission on all sales.

Delivery: Hand deliveries January 15-16, 2022 (Sat & Sun 1-5 pm). Shipped work accepted January 3-15, 2022. Notifications to artists on or before January 2, 2022. Exhibition opens January 22, 2022. Pickup dates: February 26-27, 2022 (1-5 pm). A $25 storage fee applies for work not picked up on these dates. Shipped work will be mailed February 28-March 1. Artists are responsible for return shipping charges and must include a pre-paid return shipping label.

Awards: Best of Show/Mayor's Award $1500; Best of Kitsap Award $1000; First Prize in each category $1000; Second Prize in each category $500; Third Prize in each category $250; People's Choice Award $300; Honorable Mentions up to 3 per category $25 each; Purchase Prize Fund $2000.
