2022 CPA Members Juried Exhibition

The Center for Photographic Art (CPA) announces the 2022 Members' Juried Exhibition, offering $2,250 in awards. The exhibition is open to all living photographers worldwide, over the age of 18, working in all still photographic media, provided they are a CPA member. There is no theme; any subject matter is eligible. Non-members may join CPA at https://photography.org/shop/joincpa/.

Entry fees are $35 for 3 images, with $5 for each additional image (up to 20 total). Submissions are accepted January 3 through February 26, 2022, 11:59pm MST via the CallForEntry online system. Images must be submitted at 1920 pixels (long dimension) @ 72 ppi, AdobeRGB(1998) profile, saved as 8-bit JPEG files not exceeding 5MB. Each image must be titled; "Untitled" is not allowed. The juror is Crista Dix, Executive Director at the Griffin Museum of Photography.

Forty-five images selected by the juror will be exhibited in the CPA gallery in Carmel, CA, and featured in an online gallery on the CPA website. Up to an additional forty-five images will be selected for the online gallery only. All selected images will be published in the 2022 Members' Juried Exhibition catalog. Awards include: Best of Show ($1,000), 2nd Place ($500), 3rd Place ($250), 5 Merit Mentions ($50 each), and the Jack Wasserbach Award for B&W Photography ($250). Artists will be notified of results via email after March 6, 2022. For gallery-selected artists, artwork must arrive at CPA no later than Friday, April 1, 2022. The exhibition runs April 9-May 8, 2022, with a reception and awards presentation on April 9, 4:00-6:00pm. Gallery artwork must be ready-to-hang, framed with acrylic Plexiglas only (no glass), not exceeding 30 inches on the long side and weighing less than 10 pounds.
