2022 Artistry's Annual Members' Juried Art Exhibition

Artistry's 45th Annual Members' Juried Art Exhibition runs October 14 – November 18, 2022, with an opening reception and awards ceremony on Friday, October 14, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. The exhibition brings together Artistry's talented members, showcasing a varied and eclectic collection of different mediums, styles and techniques. Artwork is selected by a prominent member of the local arts community. Awards include a $600 Best of Show Award, $300 Excellence awards in 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional work, four $150 Merit awards, and four $50 Honorable Mentions.

Eligibility is open to all Artistry members, 18 years or older, who reside in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa and Wisconsin. Membership is required; a membership initiated after September 1, 2021 is considered valid for this competition. There is no entry fee to apply. Artists may submit one or two different art pieces (only one image per artwork allowed). Artwork must be original (no prints or reproductions allowed) and ideally completed in the last five years. Maximum size for 2-D and 3-D work is 50" in any direction including the frame. All visual art media is accepted, including photography, with the exception of film or video. Accepted work must be dry, framed, and prepared for hanging when delivered to the gallery. Canvases must be framed or museum wrapped (1 ½" or deeper edge) with finished edges. Works on paper and smearable mediums such as charcoal and pastels must be protected under glass or Plexi-glass.

Application deadline is September 1, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification will be emailed by 5:00 p.m. Monday, September 19. Selected artwork must be delivered to Artistry on Saturday, October 8, between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The exhibition closes at 10:00 p.m. Friday, November 18. Artists must pick up exhibited artwork Saturday, November 19 between 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Artistry receives a 30% commission on all sales from the gallery. Major loss or damage to accepted pieces is covered by Artistry's Fine Art Insurance for fair market value minus the 30% commission.
