2022 Annual Fall Show - Lake Granbury Art Association

The Lake Granbury Art Association invites artists to submit work for the 2022 Annual Fall Show. This is an open juried competition for artists 18 years of age and over. The exhibition will be held at Shanley House Gallery, 224 North Travis St., Granbury, TX, from September 17 to October 29, 2022, with an official opening on September 17 and a reception and awards presentation on September 24 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Submissions are due by August 8, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. The entry fee is $45.00 for 1-3 entries. Artists may submit 1-3 images. Artwork must have been executed in the last 3 years and must not have been exhibited in any previous LGAA sponsored juried competition. Only original two or three-dimensional art is eligible; photography is not accepted. Accepted mediums include oil, water media, pastel, pencil, pen & ink, mixed media, and 3-D work. No nudes or work done under supervision is eligible. Two-dimensional work must not exceed 44 inches in any direction including the frame, with image size of 9x12 inches or larger excluding frame/mat. Three-dimensional work must not exceed 60 lbs or 60 inches in any direction. All two-dimensional work must be suitably framed or gallery-wrapped (minimum 1½" deep with all sides painted) and ready to hang with heavy-gauge wire.

Art delivery ends September 3, 2022. Hand-delivered pieces are accepted at Shanley House Gallery on Friday, September 2 and Saturday, September 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Shipped deliveries must arrive by September 3 and include a reusable shipping carton and pre-paid return address label. The juror will select up to 50 images for exhibition. Awards include a $1,000 Best of Show Award and a total of $3,000 in awards anticipated. All accepted works must remain at the gallery for the duration of the show and must be available for sale. The Lake Granbury Art Association retains 20% commission on all sales.
