2021 Summer Open Juried Show

Falkirk Cultural Center invites artists residing within the nine counties of the San Francisco Bay Area to submit original work for the 2021 Summer Open Juried Exhibition. The exhibition runs June 4 - July 1, 2021.

Artists may submit up to 3 separate pieces completed in the past two years that have not been previously shown at Falkirk Cultural Center. All media are accepted except jewelry and videography. Work samples should include at least 1 digital image per 2D or 3D work. Size limitations: 2D artwork up to 60 x 60 inches (30 pounds maximum); 3D artwork up to 48 x 48 x 48 inches (70 pounds maximum for floor installation). All works on paper must be framed and ready to hang with proper hanging hardware. Entry fee is $40 for one entry, with $10 per additional entry (up to 2 additional entries allowed).

Digital entries must be submitted by April 30, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MST via www.callforentry.org/. Accepted entries will be notified by email by May 10, 2021. Hand delivery of accepted work is required on May 26, 2021 between 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Falkirk Cultural Center, 1408 Mission Avenue, San Rafael, CA 94901. Awards include 1st place $100, 2nd place $75, and 3rd place $50, presented at the opening on June 4, 2021. People's Choice Awards (no monetary value) will be voted on throughout the exhibition.
