About This Call
The 2021 Juried Art Show at the Shoreline Arts Festival is a virtual/online exhibition. Supporting local artists is the key mission, with the goal to cultivate creativity and inspire the community through the arts. Artwork will be featured online from June 7 - July 31, 2021. People's Choice Award voting will take place on the planned festival weekend of Saturday, June 26th and Sunday, June 27th.
Entry fee is $10 per artwork, with a limit of 4 entries per person per category. Only 1 image per artwork is allowed. Categories include 2-D Artwork, 3-D Artwork, and Photography. All entries must be original, created within the last 3 years, and may not be copied from published artwork or photographs. Entries previously shown at the Shoreline Arts Festival are not eligible. Works may be in any theme/subject and of any medium on any surface.
Total prize money of $850 will be awarded. Juror's Choice Awards include: 2-D/3-D Artwork 1st Place $200, 2nd Place $100, 3rd Place $50; Photography 1st Place $200, 2nd Place $100, 3rd Place $50. People's Choice Awards include: 1st Place $75, 2nd Place $50, 3rd Place $25. Jurors are Gale Johansen (2-D/3-D Artwork) and Norman E. Riley (Photography). Artists will be notified of juried selection and Juror's Choice Award winners via email on June 7. Artwork may be offered for sale online with a 20% commission collected on all sales. Artists must assume liability for loss or damage, as artwork will not be insured by ShoreLake Arts or Shoreline Community College.
