2021 Quilts Unlimited

View holds the annual "Quilts Unlimited" exhibition, open to all quilters working in Art, Bed, or Wall quilts. The exhibition is open to international artists.

Eligibility: All submissions must contain 3 layers and quilting. Kit quilts and hand-tied quilts are not eligible. All entries must be of original design or attribution given to pattern designer, created within the past 2 years. Artwork previously shown at View is not eligible. Bed quilts must measure at least 61"x61". Wall quilts must measure 60"x60" or less. Art quilts must reflect innovative construction and design techniques with quilt materials and techniques primarily fabric.

Entry fees: $25 for non-members, $15 for View members. Each artist may submit up to 5 works at an additional cost of $10 per image. Submissions must be made through CaFÉ (callforentry.org). All work must be priced or valued for insurance purposes. View retains a 35% commission on all entries sold. Artwork will be insured by View for the duration of the exhibition. Work must remain on display for the entire exhibition. Selected work must be received by September 23, 2021. Selected artwork must include a 4" sleeve sewn on the upper back and a cloth label with quilter's name and quilt title sewn to the back lower left corner. All shipping is at the artist's expense with a $10 handling fee per package.

Juror of Selection: Brenda Gael Smith. Juror of Awards: Kathie Beltz. View offers over $2,500 in cash prizes. Exhibition dates: October 2 - December 4, 2021. Selection notification will be sent by September 3, 2021. Opening reception for View members and exhibiting artists: October 1, 2021, 5-7pm. Pick up: December 6, 2021 or by appointment. Return of shipments: December 6-10, 2021.
