2021 Northern Colorado Regional Photography Show

The Lincoln Gallery and Thompson Valley Art League invite photographers to enter the 2021 Northern Colorado Regional Photography Show. Open to all photographers residing in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah. Work must be original work by the entering photographer, not copied from published photos or works by other photographers. All entries must be for sale. No installations or sets of multiple works to make one entry will be accepted. Entries must have been completed within the last 3 years (2018 or later) and may not have been included or accepted in previous Lincoln Gallery or Thompson Valley Art League juried shows.

Photographers may submit 3 to 8 images across five categories: Color Nature (scenic, landscapes, macros, wildlife), Color Urban (architectural interiors and exteriors, street photography, photojournalistic photography), Black & White Nature (scenic, landscapes, macros, wildlife), Black & White Urban (architectural interiors and exteriors, street photography, photojournalistic photography), and Open (photographs with heavy or obvious digital modification producing painterly or other-worldly effects). Entry fee is $45 for a minimum of 3 entries, with additional entries at $10 each up to a maximum of 8 total entries. David Clack, owner of the Illustrated Light Gallery of Fine Art Photography in Old Town Fort Collins, will serve as juror.

The exhibition runs April 2-23. Due to COVID restrictions, only the 11 winning photographs will be displayed at the Lincoln Gallery. All accepted images will be displayed on an online virtual gallery at LincolnGallery.com for 3 months, featuring photographer names, websites, email addresses, and phone numbers. Direct sales through the virtual gallery are not subject to the 35% gallery commission. Cash awards will be given for Best of Show plus 1st and 2nd place in each category. Shipped work must arrive March 15-29; hand deliveries accepted March 30-31 between 12:00pm-5:00pm at Lincoln Gallery, 429 North Lincoln Avenue, Loveland, CO 80537. Flat work including frame shall not exceed 75 inches linear measurement and must be wired for hanging. All work must weigh no more than 25 lbs. The Lincoln Gallery will collect a 35% commission on all sales. Payment for sold items will be mailed to artists on the 20th of the month following the close of the show.
