2021 Louisville Art Association National Juried Photography Show and Sale

The 2021 Louisville Art Association National Juried Photography Show and Sale is the 27th iteration of this national juried photography exhibition, taking place May 28 – June 6, 2021 in Louisville, Colorado. The venue is the Louisville Center for the Arts, a historic Victorian turn-of-the-century red brick schoolhouse located at 801 Grant Ave. The show features an elegant gallery setting with downtown Louisville offering an array of art galleries, shops, restaurants and cafes.

At least $6,750 in cash and prizes will be awarded, including Best in Show, First Place in each category, Honorable Mention awards, and the People's Choice award. The judge is Glenn Randall, a full-time photographer, writer, and instructor with 42 years of experience and over 2,000 published photographs. Entry categories include Digital Manipulation, Alternative Process/Manipulation, People, Animal & Wildlife, Nature Created, Human Made, Still Life and Abstracts, and Macro and Close-up photography. Submissions must be original work in .jpg or .jpeg format, 1200 pixels along the longest edge, less than 5 megabytes, in sRGB color space. Framed size limit is 48 inches on the longest side. Entry fee is $40 for the first three images and $10 for each additional image, with a maximum of 6 entries per person. All accepted work must be properly framed, wired and ready to hang. A 25% commission is charged on all work sold. Accepted artists are notified April 8, 2021. Shipped artwork must arrive by May 21, 2021 with pre-paid return postage. Hand-delivered work must be brought to the Louisville Center for the Arts between 5pm and 7pm on May 25, 2021. A virtual awards reception is scheduled for May 29, 2021 at 7:00 pm.
