2021 Louisville Art Association National Fine Art Show

The Louisville Art Association invites artists to enter the 36th Annual National Juried 2021 Fine Art Show and Sale. The show takes place in Louisville, Colorado at the Louisville Center for the Arts, a late 19th century red brick schoolhouse. The exhibition runs from September 3-12, 2021, in conjunction with the Louisville Labor Day weekend event. The gallery will be closed to the public on Tuesday, September 7 and Wednesday, September 8 for a private event.

Artists of all mediums and genres are encouraged to apply. Eligible categories include Acrylics, Oil, Watercolor, Sculpture, Printing/Drawing, Pastels, Fiber, Functional, Glass, Mixed Media, and Digital. Photography and reproductions are not eligible. All artwork must be original in both concept and execution, completed in the last two years, and not previously shown in a LAA National Fine Art Show. Artists must be 18 years or older. Size limitations: 2D pieces may not exceed 48 inches on any side including frame and cannot weigh over 70 lbs; 3D sculptures cannot exceed 36 inches in any dimension and cannot weigh over 70 lbs.

Entry fee is $40 for one to three entries, with each additional entry at $10, up to six total pieces. Submissions require 3-6 images. The juror is Sheri Farabaugh, a Signature member of Oil Painters of America and the American Society of Marine Artists. Awards include Best of Show/First Place ($600), 2nd Place ($400), 3rd Place ($250), Judge's Choice ($200), 10 Artistic Achievement Awards ($100 each), and 1 People's Choice Award ($200). Accepted artists must provide the actual artwork that was juried in; substitutions are not allowed. Artists may display up to 5 pieces of matted bin work or cards for sale. Contact: [email protected].
