About This Call
The 19th Annual Lone Tree Fine Art Expo is presented by the City of Lone Tree and the Lone Tree Arts Commission. This juried exhibition runs September 9th – November 15th, 2021 at the Lone Tree Arts Center, 10075 Commons Street, Lone Tree, Colorado, 80124.
Artists may submit up to three pieces of original artwork in the following categories: Painting (oil, acrylic, tempera), Drawing (pastel, pencil, charcoal), Watercolor, Mixed Media, and Sculpture. Artwork must have been completed within the last two years (2019-2021) and not previously shown in a Lone Tree art exhibition. Artwork must be available for purchase and remain on display through the duration of the exhibit. Three-dimensional artwork cannot exceed 24" and must not weigh more than 75 pounds. Two-dimensional media cannot exceed 48", must be a minimum of 12", and cannot weigh more than 45 pounds. All work must be dropped off in person on Tuesday, September 7th between 3:00pm – 6:00pm and picked up on Monday, November 15th between 3:00pm – 6:00pm.
The entry fee is $35 (non-refundable). Artists will receive email notification by August 23rd, 2021 regarding acceptance. Awards include Best of Show, Commissioner's Choice, and First and Second Place awards in each category. A 20% sales commission applies to all sales. Artists may sell bin work at the opening reception (September 22nd, 2021) only. The 2021 juror is Janice Sugg, a career-level oil painter with work in public and private collections nationally and internationally.
