2021 Holiday Shop at the Ann Arbor Art Center

The Ann Arbor Art Center is seeking handmade works of art to showcase and sell in-person and online during the annual Holiday Shop. The Gallery Shop showcases works by local and regional artists year-round, including functional ceramics, handmade jewelry, and two-dimensional works of fine art. All mediums are encouraged to apply, including ceramics, sculpture, jewelry, glass, fibers, and 2D artwork.

Submit up to 5 high-quality photographs of original works of art. All submissions will be juried by a committee of Art Center staff, external artists, and community members. Entry fee is $20. Artists must be over 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US. All artwork must be original, professionally presented, and ready for installation and sale upon arrival. The Art Center retains a 50% commission on all artwork sold.

Submission deadline: Monday, October 18th. Artists will be notified of jury results via email on Thursday, October 21st. Artwork drop-off is Friday, October 22nd through Sunday, November 7th (by appointment only). The Holiday Shop closes Thursday, December 30th. Artwork pick-up is Tuesday, January 4th through Sunday, January 16th (by appointment only). Works may be hand delivered or shipped via UPS, USPS, or FedEx; artists are responsible for all shipping and return shipping costs. Currently represented Gallery Shop artists showing the same media are exempt from jury and should contact the gallery by October 18th with their intentions.
