2021 Digital Art, Assemblage or Collage Exhibition

Las Laguna Art Gallery is seeking submissions for an online and in-person exhibition featuring Digital Art, Assemblage, or Collage. The gallery is looking for art that uses digital technology as part of the creative or presentation process, including work created with software like Photoshop, Procreate, Corel Painter, or other digital tools on computers or phones.

Assemblages are three-dimensional variants of collage with elements jutting in or out of a defined substrate, or entirely three-dimensional arrangements of objects and/or sculptures. Collage is a technique where art results from an assemblage of different forms, creating a new whole. Works can use traditional magazine and newspaper clippings, photographs, ribbons, paints, found objects, bits of colored or handmade papers, or be made digitally using a wide variety of digital tools or methods. Any and all themes will be considered.

All local, national, and international artists, professional and amateur, are eligible. Entry deadline is October 10, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Notification of acceptance is October 17, 2021, with the exhibition running November 6 to November 27, 2021. Entry fee is $31.00 plus $2.00 per additional image/media file. Submit 1-20 images. All artists who submit will have at least one work posted and promoted on the gallery's website. A select number of artists will be chosen to send their work to the gallery's brick and mortar location in Laguna Beach, California for the in-person exhibition. Commission split is 65% artist, 35% gallery.
