2021 CVG Show

Collective Visions Gallery announces the Fourteenth Annual CVG Show, a juried art competition for Photo/Digital, Two-Dimensional and Three-Dimensional art. All Washington State artists over the age of 18 are invited to submit work. Over $9,000 in cash and purchase prizes will be awarded to winners in several categories.

Eligibility: Artists must be 18 years or older and residents of Washington State. Entries must be original work executed within the past three years (since 1/1/2017) and completed without instructor supervision. Copies of existing artworks or works solely based on copyrighted artworks are not eligible. A maximum of two entries per artist is permitted, and artists may enter more than one category. Entry fee is $45.00 for one to two artworks. Submissions are made online through CaFE at www.callforentry.org.

Work Requirements: Two-dimensional work may not exceed 8 feet in longest dimension or weigh more than 75 lbs. All 2D works on paper must be under glass or Plexiglas (shipped work must use Plexiglas). Three-dimensional work must fit within a 4 x 4 x 9 foot space and weigh less than 400 lbs. All work must be gallery-ready for display with appropriate framing, hanging wires, and supports (no sawtooth hangers). Work can be hand-delivered January 16-17, 2021 (1-5 pm) or shipped January 4-16, 2021. Artist notifications will be sent on or before January 3, 2021. The exhibition opens January 23, 2021 at Collective Visions Gallery with an awards ceremony and reception. All work must be for sale; Collective Visions Gallery retains a 33% commission on sales. Artists are responsible for insuring their own work.
