2021 Cultural Council for Palm Beach County Biennial

The Cultural Council for Palm Beach County invites visual artists residing in Palm Beach County to submit artwork for its 2021 Biennial. The exhibition opens March 26, 2021 and runs through May 29, 2021. The biennial is juried by Aldeide Delgado, Founder and Director of Women Photographers International Archive.

Eligible artists must live, work, study, or maintain a studio in Palm Beach County. Up to three artworks per entry may be submitted, with only one entry per artist. Artwork may be in any medium including photography, video, works on paper, sculptural installations, crafts, and textiles. Files must be jpg or pdf, no larger than 10 MB per file. There is no entry fee. Submissions are accepted only through the online platform CaFE.

The guest Juror/Curator will select three prize winners: First Prize $2,000, Second Prize $1,000, and Third Prize $500. Visitors to the exhibition will vote for a People's Choice award of $500. All exhibited artists will receive a complimentary Individual Membership to the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County or a one-year extension of an existing membership. Selected artists are responsible for delivery and pickup of artwork. Artwork will be insured on premises if a list of titles, descriptions, and values is provided prior to delivery. Artwork is not insured in transit. Installation dates are March 22-24, 2021. Notification of selected artists will occur in February 2021.
