2021 Courage Kenny Card Holiday Art Search

Courage Kenny Cards invites artists of all abilities to submit original artwork for their annual Holiday Art Search. Selected artwork will be reproduced on high-quality holiday cards and products, with proceeds supporting rehabilitation, independent living, and recreation services for people with disabilities.

All two-dimensional mediums and styles are accepted. Artwork must fit into one of the designated holiday art categories: Thanksgiving, Symbols of the Season, Winter City Scenes, Religious Christmas, Winter Landscapes, or Winter Wildlife. Artwork must be original work created by the applicant and does not have to be for sale, but a high-quality scan must be available for reproduction. Submissions are limited to 12 entries per artist. Digital entries only in JPEG format, 300 dpi, no more than 2100 pixels at the longest dimension. Entry fee is $10.00.

Approximately 30 pieces of art are selected each year. Selected artists receive a $400 license fee and nationwide recognition through distribution of more than 300,000 catalogs, promotional pieces, and the Courage Kenny Cards website, which will feature an artist photo, profile, and website link. The artist retains ownership and copyright of the artwork. Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute receives exclusive rights to reproduce and distribute the artwork on cards and other products for five years. The artist's name, copyright notification, and artwork title appear on the back of each card or product. Notification of selections is expected by March 1, 2021, with delivery of original artwork or high-quality digital image due by March 12, 2021.
