About This Call
The Lincoln Center in Fort Collins, CO invites visual artists residing in the US to enter this national juried Contemporary Art Survey. The exhibition is an open call to artists working in all media. The center seeks works in all media and genres that present a survey of contemporary art in America. Representational, abstract, and conceptual work will be considered. Small installations (up to 12'h x 6'w x 6'd) and new media are encouraged.
The guest juror is Zoey Frank, who received her MFA in painting from Laguna College of Art and Design and has exhibited work in galleries across the United States and Europe. $1,750 in cash prizes will be awarded: Grand Prize $1,000, Second Place $500, Third Place $250. Artists will be notified the week of October 4. Artwork delivery to The Lincoln Center must arrive October 25-29, or hand deliveries can be made Tuesday, November 2, 1-4 p.m. The exhibition runs November 10-January 8, with artwork returned the week of January 10.
Entry fee is $35.00 (non-refundable) for up to three different artworks per artist in any combination of media. Submit 1-3 images and 0-3 videos (1-3 total samples). Eligibility: artists 18 years and older with primary residence in the United States. Entries must be original work completed in the past two years (since November 2019) and not from previous Lincoln Center calls. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping with prepaid return labels. The Lincoln Center will insure artworks while on premises and retains a 30% commission on all sales. Accepted artwork must be shipped installation-ready with appropriate hanging hardware and detailed instructions for non-standard installations.
