2021 Artworks Northwest Biennial

The Umpqua Valley Arts Association presents the 2021 Artworks Northwest Biennial, a regional juried exhibition held in the Hallie Brown Ford Gallery. This exhibition is open to artists residing in the Pacific Northwest region (Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska, British Columbia, Western Montana and Western Wyoming). All media are welcome, including sculpture, printmaking, photography, painting, and drawing.

Artists may submit up to 5 entries. Entry fees are $35 for non-members and $25 for UVAA members. Work samples must be submitted as digital JPG files (minimum 1, maximum 5 images). All work must be original, created within the last three years, display-ready upon arrival, and must not have been previously exhibited at UVAA. Fine art prints are eligible if signed, numbered, and in a limited edition of 125 or less. All accepted artwork must be for sale and must fit through a standard 3-foot wide door and weigh less than 50 lbs. UVAA commission rates are 30% for members and 40% for non-members.

Submission deadline is April 16, 2021. Accepted artists will be notified by May 4, 2021. Artwork delivery to UVAA is May 31 - June 7, 2021. The opening reception is June 11, 2021 from 5pm to 7pm, and the exhibit runs through August 23, 2021. Artwork pickup/shipping is August 26, 2021 from 9am to 4pm, with shipped artwork departing August 29, 2021. Artists are responsible for shipping costs to and from UVAA. UVAA will insure each accepted work for 60% of its value from arrival until release to the shipping agent. The juror is Grace Kook-Anderson, Curator of Northwest Art.
